Dear Parents,
It was heart-warming to see the Castelli community come together in December for the various festive and charity events. There was a sense of warmth, joy and care throughout the campus as we joined forces to organize and then enjoy the many events, from the amazing Winter Shows to cozy hot chocolate breaks and creative wreath making workshops.
The elementary school proved to be a magical place to be over the last few weeks as the children indulged in a series of activities that helped to heighten their excitement at this special time of year. The festivities began with the children decorating the tree with their own hand-made decorations. However, the focal point of everyone’s attention soon became the Winter Shows. The Kindergarten pupils led the way with their charming show at the school before the rest of the elementary grades produced a stunning spectacle at the Villa Sora theatre. Having worked so hard to produce such wonderful shows, the children were more than worthy of their ‘Hot Chocolate Christmas’ event provided for them by CIPA as well as the end of term disco.
The middle school surprised the parents with an energizing and well choreographed show with an important theme: Peace, Love and Rock’n Roll. The students displayed a nice mix of singing, dancing, acting and playing various instruments. Well done to the teachers and the students! The week ended with some fun, the House Captains organized games at the field and in class that concluded in a delicious hot-chocolate and panettone snack organized by the parents.
Most importantly, the generosity and care of our community shone through. The charity initiatives organized by both parents and students brought comfort and cheer to those in need. Thanks to your kindness, presents and food donations were delivered to the foster home Il Raggio di Sole in Frascati. In addition, the wreath workshops organized by CIPA raised, together with the middle school no-uniform day, € 550, which will be donated to Comunità Gnosis - a local rehabilitation center supporting young adults with mental health challenges.
A heartfelt thank you to the parents, students, faculty and staff who helped organize these events and contributed to creating such meaningful and joyful moments for our students as well as for those less fortunate than us.

Cari genitori,
È stato davvero commovente vedere la comunità Castelli riunirsi nel mese di dicembre per i vari eventi festivi e di beneficenza. In tutto il campus si respirava un clima di calore, gioia e attenzione verso gli altri, mentre univamo le forze per organizzare e poi vivere insieme i numerosi eventi, dagli straordinari Winter Show alle accoglienti pause con cioccolata calda, fino ai creativi laboratori di realizzazione delle ghirlande.
Nelle ultime settimane la scuola elementare si è rivelata un luogo magico con i bambini impegnati a svolgere una serie di attività che hanno contribuito ad accrescere l’entusiasmo per questo periodo speciale dell’anno. I festeggiamenti sono iniziati con la decorazione dell’albero utilizzando decorazioni realizzate a mano. Tuttavia, il centro dell’attenzione sono diventati ben presto i Winter Show. Gli alunni del Kindergarten hanno aperto le celebrazioni con il loro delizioso spettacolo tenutosi a scuola, seguiti poi dalle altre classi delle elementari che hanno dato vita a uno spettacolo straordinario al teatro di Villa Sora. Dopo aver lavorato così duramente per realizzare gli spettacoli, i bambini hanno pienamente meritato il “Hot Chocolate Christmas” evento organizzato ed offerto da CIPA, così come la festa di fine trimestre.
La scuola media ha piacevolmente sorpreso i genitori con uno spettacolo energetico e ben coreografato, incentrato su un tema importante: Peace, Love and Rock’n Roll. Gli studenti hanno esibito un bel mix di canto, danza, recitazione e musica, suonando diversi strumenti. Complimenti agli insegnanti e agli studenti! La settimana si è conclusa all’insegna del divertimento: i House Captains hanno organizzato giochi sul campo e in classe, terminati con una deliziosa merenda a base di cioccolata calda e panettone, organizzata dai genitori.
Soprattutto, è emersa con forza la generosità e l’attenzione della nostra comunità. Le iniziative di beneficenza organizzate sia dai genitori sia dagli studenti hanno portato un po’ conforto e gioia a chi ne aveva bisogno. Grazie alla vostra gentilezza, doni e alimenti sono stati consegnati alla casa-famiglia Il Raggio di Sole di Frascati. Inoltre, i laboratori di realizzazione delle ghirlande organizzati da CIPA, insieme alla giornata “no-uniform” della scuola media, hanno raccolto 550 €, che saranno donati a Comunità Gnosis, un centro di riabilitazione locale che sostiene giovani adulti con difficoltà legate alla salute mentale.
Un sentito ringraziamento a genitori, studenti, docenti e personale che hanno contribuito all’organizzazione di questi eventi e alla creazione di momenti così significativi e gioiosi per i nostri studenti e per chi è meno fortunato di noi.
